Once the babies grow into toddlers, they are normally sleeping through the night, feeding theirselves and entertaining each other. You can deal with so much more when you're not sleep deprived but each stage throws in different dilemmas and problems.

These problems are not unique to twins, they are problematic with any single baby too. Tantrums, colds and sneezes, being fussy with food, potty training problems etc. At play groups / nursery, twins are generally better at sharing than single babies as they've always had their twin alongside them but they can act as a tag team, coordinating their mischief for double impact.

The best thing about twins at this stage is that they've always got a playmate with them so they are not bored as often. However you do need to have a lot of energy to keep up with twins and keep a strict routine for maximum effect.
