Twins' Nan does a parachute jump to raise money for surgery to help them walk Tuesday 8th of November 2011 Twins Ayley and Chloe Hirsch (age two and a half) are happy, lively little girls but as they were both born with Cerebral Palsy, are unable to stand or walk alone. So their family are raising funds to send the girls to America for life-changing surgery which will give them the chance to walk and run around just like their friends. The ground breaking surgery, Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, will cost £80,000 and so everyone has rallied around to help . . . including granny, who at the age of 70 did her first ever parachute jump on Sunday. And she's proved to be a bit of a daredevil too - grinning from ear to ear the whole way down. Maybe the twins get their determination from Nan!! If you want to help the Ayley and Chloe walk, you can make a donation to the fund online. more |
